DATACT

DATACT Field is the mobile companion to the DATACT field-data-collection platform used by Svarmi customers — utilities, surveyors, environmental teams, and infrastructure inspectors. Field workers capture geotagged photos and notes as pins on a live map, with offline queueing and automatic sync when connectivity returns. KEY FEATURES • Map-first capture — Drop a pin or take a photo at your current GPS location with a single tap. Pins appear instantly on the shared team map. • Geotagged photos — Each photo embeds GPS coordinates and compass bearing as EXIF metadata, preserving the exact direction of view. • Live device heading — A directional cone on your position shows where the device is pointing, making it easy to line up a capture. • Aerial imagery layers — View raster datasets (drone orthomosaics, satellite imagery, WMS layers) supplied by your DATACT channel administrators. • External geoservices — Bring in WMS, XYZ, or vector layers from third-party sources, including the National Land Survey of Iceland. • Offline-first — Captures queue locally when out of range and sync the moment connectivity returns. No data loss in the field. • Photo markup — Annotate photos with a built-in drawing tool before saving. • Team collaboration — Pins are shared within your channel; comment on team members' captures. WHO IT'S FOR DATACT Field is a closed B2B platform. Accounts are provisioned by Svarmi administrators for customers of the DATACT field-data platform. There is no public sign-up.
