Hostelova: Hostels, PG & Flat

Hostelova helps a student find a hostel, PG or flat near their college, and helps an owner put theirs in front of students. Everything you need to decide is on the listing: real photos, the full monthly price, and what the room actually includes. FOR STUDENTS • Search by area, college or landmark, or turn on Near Me to see places within 20 km of you. • Filter by Single, Double, AC or Non-AC rooms. • See the full price before you pay: monthly rent, security deposit, maintenance, advance months and the service fee, all itemised. • Room-by-room detail: photos of each room type, how many share it, attached bathroom, geyser, WiFi, food, laundry, parking, study table and more. • Availability floor by floor, so you can see which rooms are still free. • A Verified badge on listings whose owner has been through our document check. • Ratings and reviews written by students who booked through the app. • Save the places you like and compare them later. • Pay online through Razorpay, or send a booking request and let the owner confirm first. • After booking: your booking code, a PDF receipt, messages from the hostel, and a refund you can follow step by step if you cancel. • Listings added by our team carry the owner's phone number, so you can call or message them directly. • Something looks wrong? Report the listing and our team reviews it. FOR HOSTEL, PG AND FLAT OWNERS • Listing is free. No listing fee and no commission today, and if that ever changes we tell owners 30 days before. • Add your property in six guided steps: basics, location on the map, facilities, rooms and pricing, photos, and payment terms. Leave it half done and your draft is saved. • Price and photograph each room type separately, map room numbers floor by floor, and mark a room full when it fills. • Students pay online before a booking reaches you, so a confirmed booking is money already collected. Plain enquiries come through separately. • Payouts you can trace: every settlement shows the amount, the method, and the bank or UPI reference with the date it was sent. • Payout details lock the moment you save them. Changing them needs admin approval, so nobody can quietly redirect your money. • See how your listing is doing: views, enquiries and booking requests. • Manage tenants: move-in dates, extend a stay, mark a room empty again, and send a rent reminder. • Verification keeps both sides safe. We ask for Aadhaar and proof of ownership. Your full Aadhaar number is never stored, only a one-way hash and the last four digits, and your documents sit in private storage that only our verification team can open. HOW WE KEEP LISTINGS HONEST • Real photos and room-level details, not stock images. • The complete price up front, before anyone pays. • Every listing is reviewed by our team before students can see it. • Owners are checked against their documents before they are marked Verified. Hostelova is built in Lucknow and adding hostels city by city. If we do not cover your city yet, the app says so instead of showing you something far away. The app shows ads from Google. Every ad is labelled "Ad", and it is never mixed into a listing.
