SCS School App

SCS School is the staff app for schools running the Student Care System. It puts the four things a teacher does every day on their own phone: the roll call, homework, marks, and the syllabus record. Sign in with the code your school office gives you, and the app connects to your own school's server. Nothing is shared between schools. TAKE THE ROLL CALL IN SECONDS Pick your class, tap "All present", then correct only the students who are absent — a register of forty is three taps, not forty. IN and OUT are separate, so an early departure is recorded properly rather than guessed at afterwards. POST HOMEWORK TO ONE CLASS OR SEVERAL Write it, or attach a photo of the board or a PDF question paper. Post it to several sections at once. Photos are cropped and compressed as you pick them, so it goes out quickly even on a weak connection. PDFs open inside the app, so nobody has to leave it to read one page. ENTER MARKS AGAINST YOUR SCHOOL'S OWN MARKSHEET Choose the class, the subject and the exam column your school has set up. The app checks a mark against the column's maximum while you are still at the keyboard, not after the whole sheet has been saved. KEEP THE SYLLABUS RECORD Record each chapter as you finish it, with a note of what was covered. Progress shows per class, so you can see at a glance where each section has reached. MARK YOUR OWN ATTENDANCE Mark yourself present from the campus. The app tells you how far from school you are before you try, rather than quietly recording attendance from somewhere else. REMINDERS THAT RESPECT YOUR DAY An optional morning reminder if you have not marked in, and an afternoon one if no homework has gone out. Both can be switched off. MADE TO BE USED IN A CORRIDOR Light and dark themes, six school colours, large tap targets and a layout meant for one hand between two periods. WHO THIS APP IS FOR Teachers and staff of a school that already uses the Student Care System. You need a school code and an account from your school office — the app cannot create one for you. Parents and students should use the SCS parents app instead. WHAT YOU SEE DEPENDS ON YOUR SCHOOL Your school decides which modules your account may use, which classes and subjects are assigned to you, and how its marksheet is set up. If something is missing, your school office is who adds it.
