Full description
VoidMic turns your phone into a wireless microphone for your studio or live rig: no cables, no audio interface, no drivers. It publishes your phone's mic as an Ableton Link Audio channel on your Wi-Fi network. Any Link-Audio-capable host sees your phone as a standard mono audio input and routes it like any other source, in real time, low-latency, and it keeps streaming even with the screen off. HOW IT WORKS 1. Put your phone and your computer on the same Wi-Fi network. 2. Enable Link Audio in your host (Ableton Live 12.4: Settings → Link). 3. Tap START. In Live, add an audio track and set "Audio From" to your phone's name, channel "mic". FEATURES • Phone mic to network audio source over Ableton Link Audio • Adjustable input gain: set the right level for your mic and source in real time • Wireless, zero setup: no USB, no interface, no drivers • Real-time, low-latency capture (48 kHz) • Keeps streaming with the screen off, with a one-tap Stop in the notification • Custom peer name so your phone is easy to find on the network • Live input meter with peak-hold and clip indication • Reliable start/stop that survives backgrounding WORKS WITH • Ableton Live 12.4 or later: native • Other hosts via the free VoidLinkAudio connectors (Max, TouchDesigner, VCV Rack, openFrameworks, Pure Data) • Any VST3 / AU host via VoidLinkAudio Send/Receive (Reaper, Bitwig, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Live) REQUIREMENTS • Android 8.0+ • Your phone and host on the same Wi-Fi network • A Link-Audio-capable host Powered by Ableton Link.
