CookPal keeps all your recipes in one place. Import them from hundreds of recipe websites, take a photo of a cookbook page, or write down your own. Then plan the week and take the shopping list with you to the store. Collect recipes • Import recipes from hundreds of recipe websites, with ingredients and steps. • Scan printed recipes: photograph a cookbook page or a recipe card and CookPal reads it for you. • Add your own recipes and sort everything into groups. Cook • Step-by-step mode shows the ingredients you need for each step and has built-in timers. • See estimated calories and nutrients per serving, calculated from the ingredients. Plan the week • Put recipes on days yourself, or let CookPal draft a plan from your recipes. It takes your diet, the number of people and the meals you want planned into account. • Cook once, eat twice: leftovers can go on the next day's plan. • Don't know what to cook? Pick a few ingredients you want to use up and CookPal suggests recipes from your collection that use them. Shop • Add the week's meals to your shopping list and the ingredients are added up and sorted by aisle. • CookPal learns what you usually have at home and stops adding it automatically. • The list works offline in the store. If you use Bring!, you can send the ingredients there instead. Share with your household Share a cookbook, a week plan and a shopping list with your partner, family or flatmates. Everyone sees the same list and can tick things off. Single recipes can be shared with a link. Open source CookPal is open source and has no ads. If you prefer, you can run your own server.
