Starline turns your Android TV and Android device into a powerful media player for your personal media collection. CONNECT TO YOUR OWN SOURCES Play video from local device storage, USB drives, SMB, WebDAV and NFS network storage, or open user-provided HTTP/HTTPS media URLs. Starline is designed for media that you provide yourself, whether it is stored directly on your device or on your own home network. SMART MEDIA LIBRARY Starline can organize your movies and TV shows into a clean visual library. TV series and episodes can be detected and grouped automatically, helping you continue watching where you left off. RICH METADATA Posters, titles, episode information and descriptions can be retrieved automatically from TheTVDB, turning folders of video files into an organized media library. Media sources are supplied by the user. EXTERNAL PLAYER SUPPORT Other Android applications can pass user-selected media to Starline through standard Android media intents. Starline acts only as the media player and does not search for or provide third-party media sources. BUILT FOR TV AND TOUCH DEVICES The TV interface is designed for D-pad and remote-control navigation. Starline also supports Android phones and tablets with touch-friendly controls. PRIVACY Starline does not require an account to organize and play your personal media. The app does not use advertising trackers or sell personal data. Network connections are used only for features required by the app, such as accessing user-selected media sources, retrieving metadata and artwork, and verifying purchases or trial access where applicable.
