Full description
Ever wonder what happens if...? Physics Sandbox is a place to find out. Drop some shapes. Give them gravity. Stack them too high, hit them with a wrecking ball, and watch what happens. Everything moves under real 2D physics, and the app shows you the numbers while you play. GAMES INSIDE • 8-ball pool — a real 9-foot table. Pull the cue back and let go. Spin, cushions and pockets behave like the real thing. • Hoops — see the arc before you shoot. The line shows bank shots and tells you if you are on target. • Bowling — regulation ball and ten pins. Set your power and spin and watch it hook. • Plinko — drop balls through the pegs and watch a bell curve build itself. 19 LEVELS Short goals to beat: topple every domino, stack it twice as high, roll it all the way to the far wall, swing the pendulum up level with its pivot. Each one teaches a bit of physics without a lecture. FREE PLAY No goal and no grade. Build anything. • Spawn boxes, balls, polygons, triangles, walls and ropes. • Grab, push, pin, spring, slice and delete. • Eight materials: rubber, ice, metal, wood, bouncy, heavy, light and default. • Joints and motors for building machines. • 15 ready-made scenes: Stack, Pendulum, Newton's Cradle, Ramp, Orbits, Dominoes, Tower, Wrecker, Catapult, Engine and more. • Change gravity and slow down time. LEARN WHILE YOU PLAY Live readings show speed, energy, momentum and spin for anything you touch. Pick how deep the explanations go: Curious, Student, University or Expert. Same sandbox, different words. Good for kids, students, teachers and curious adults. FREE AND PRIVATE Free. No ads. No purchases. No accounts. No data collection. Works offline. Works in portrait and landscape. Privacy policy: https://physics.stacklis.com/privacy.html Also runs in a browser at https://physics.stacklis.com — scenes you save in one open in the other.
