Full description

This app is implementing IoT devices in the handloom sector to enhance traceability and authenticity of products. These devices will be installed on looms to track their movement and provide real-time data about their performance. The system will also scan QR codes, capture images and videos, and record details about the weavers. All this information will be linked to a mobile and web application. This app is designed to centralize important data, allowing artisans and manufacturers to monitor loom activity from anywhere. It will help ensure quality control and create a transparent production process. The data collected will support product traceability and authenticity, giving consumers insights into how handloom products are made through QR codes that connect to information about the loom, the artisan, and the production process. The application will be cloud-hosted for easy access by all stakeholders, ensuring scalability and security. Overall, NEHHDC’s IoT solution aims to improve efficiency, transparency, and traceability in the handloom industry, benefiting both artisans and manufacturers.
