Full description
LIGHTBOOKSHOW is the digital passport of a production's lighting rig. It is built for the people who actually hang, patch and run the light: lighting designers, programmers, board operators and touring crew. Everything about a show's rig lives in one file you can carry, read and hand over. WHAT IT DOES - Fixture cards — every unit in the rig gets a card: photo, channel, universe and DMX address, position, fixture type, gel and gobo, focus notes. - Duplicates are caught — the app stops you before a second unit takes a channel and address that already exist in the show. - Patch at a glance — browse the whole rig as a list or card by card, search by number, name or position. - Cue lists and presets — keep the show's cues, times and presets alongside the rig they belong to. - Gel and gobo catalogues — pick colours and gobos from built-in catalogues instead of describing them in words. - Import from the console — bring in patch, cue lists and presets exported from grandMA2 / grandMA3 (XML) or ETC Eos (CSV) instead of retyping them. - Hand it over — export the passport as PDF or HTML, or share the show file itself, so the incoming crew gets the same picture you had. - Works offline — the show file lives on your device. No account, no cloud, nothing to sign in to. A demo production ships with the app, so you can see how a finished passport looks before you build your own. PUBLIC BETA This is a public beta: every feature is available free of charge. Opening and reading a .lightbook passport will always be free. MADE BY SOMEONE WHO DOES THIS WORK LIGHTBOOKSHOW is built by a working theatre lighting designer, from years of repertory and touring practice. If something is wrong or missing, write from the FEEDBACK screen inside the app — it goes straight to the developer.

What's new

Public beta 0.6.2: full cue timing (delay, follow, split fades), safer console import with MINE / CONSOLE merge, sturdier files and printing, springy scrolling, faster and smaller app.
