Serendip: Slow Dating & Chat

Serendip is a slow-dating app designed to fix dating app burnout. No superficial swiping, no public profile exposure, and zero spam. Focus on one real connection at a time—where photos stay blurred until both of you chat and agree to unblur. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Most dating apps are built to gamify your love life and maximize screen time. Serendip is built for intentional, human connections. • One Match at a Time No juggling a dozen shallow conversations. One person, one real conversation. • Character Before Looks Photos remain blurred on the match card. They only clear up once both of you chat and mutually click "yes". Your initial connection is built on shared interests, voice, and vibe—not surface judgment. • No Swipe Economy No like counters, no paywalled "who liked you" lists, no popularity contests. • Zero Notification Burnout We only send 4 essential types of notifications directly related to your matches. We never send "We miss you" or fake attention-seeking alerts. • Close the App and Live Your Life Your search runs in the background even when the app is closed. We don't want you staring at a screen all day. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a Profile — Sign up via email or Google, describe yourself in a few sentences, and pick your interests. Add a short voice intro if you'd like. 2. Start a Search — Whenever you're ready, start a search. One suitable person is found based on your location and age preferences. 3. Review the Card — See their name, location, shared interests, and listen to their voice intro. Photos remain blurred at this stage. 4. Connect — If both say "yes", the chat opens and photos unblur. If you don't feel a connection, you can end the chat respectfully—no queues, no awkwardness. OUR APP MODEL Serendip provides weekly refreshed search allowances—more than enough for a deliberate, slow pace. If you want extra searches, non-expiring search credits are available. Because we display zero ads and never sell your data, our independent development relies directly on this fair model. SAFETY & PRIVACY FIRST • Optional Face Verification: Confirm your profile with a quick video to earn a Verified badge. You can choose to match exclusively with verified users. • One-Tap Block & Report: Easily report any uncomfortable behavior. • 18+ Only: Exclusively for adults looking for real connections. YOUR DATA We do not sell your data or share it with ad networks. There are zero ads in the app. You can delete your account anytime in Settings, which permanently wipes all your messages, photos, and verification data.
