SpaceMinder – Storage Map

SpaceMinder shows your storage as a map. Every file and folder becomes a block whose size matches the space it takes, so the things eating your storage stand out at a glance. WHAT IT DOES • Scans the whole shared storage (and SD cards) in seconds • Draws a nested treemap: folders are frames, files are colored blocks • Colors by type: video, images, audio, documents, archives, apps, code • Tap a block to see its size, share of the view and date; tap a folder again to zoom in • List view with sizes and percentages for every folder • Shows free space and the space used by apps and the system • Open, share or delete files straight from the map (deleting always asks first) • Works offline. No account, no ads, no tracking WHY IT NEEDS "ALL FILES ACCESS" To measure every folder, SpaceMinder has to read the whole shared storage. Android 11 and later requires the "All files access" permission for that. The app only reads file names, sizes and dates. Nothing is uploaded or shared, and files are only deleted when you explicitly confirm it. NOTES • Android does not let any third-party app read Android/data and Android/obb; they are shown as "not readable". • Space used by installed apps and the system is shown as one "Apps & system" block, since it is not visible to the scan.
