Full description
🚀 WHAT SPACEJELLY DOES • Nearby launch discovery from trusted schedule data • Twilight visibility score (0–100%) with clear labels: Prime, Good Chance, Marginal, Unlikely, or Invisible • Plain-language "why this score?" breakdown (solar geometry, plume lighting, distance, clouds) • Live countdown, weather context, and look direction (azimuth + elevation) • Sky Guide compass to aim your phone at the plume • Smart notifications when a launch meets your score threshold • Home-screen widgets and Wear OS support so T-minus and score stay on your wrist • Dark, night-sky UI built for outdoor evening use OBSERVER-FOCUSED PREDICTIONS SpaceJelly isn’t just a launch calendar. It combines: • Your location and distance to the pad • Launch timing vs local twilight • Whether the plume is sunlit at altitude • Trajectory and geometry calculations • Cloud cover and visibility forecasts You only get alerted when a visible twilight show is plausible—not for every daytime flight or scrub. CUSTOMIZABLE ALERTS • Score threshold (e.g., Good Chance and above) • Alert timing options from 24 hours out down to T-0 • Scrub and NET time change updates • Quiet hours support PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS • No account required • Location used strictly for nearby launch distances and sky orientation

What's new

Recent launches now open with the viewing map, a mission page, and a replay. The replay uses the provider stream first (SpaceX, NASA, Blue Origin). Everyday Astronaut and NASASpaceflight are only used if no official stream exists. Also: photo searches on X and Reddit, a Recent launches list, and the upcoming list only shows flights with a real clock-time NET. Green = best view, yellow = good, orange = edge.
