Sound Tools puts the three things a musician reaches for every day into one app: a chromatic tuner, a metronome and a sound analyzer that finds the key and chords of a song. No account, no connection needed, and your audio stays on your phone. Chromatic tuner • Precision in cents, with the note shown large and a needle that reacts instantly. • A catalog of instruments with their tunings: guitar, bass, ukulele, violin and many more. • Each string turns green once it is within ±5 cents. • Pick the string yourself or let the app detect it automatically. Use it as an everyday guitar tuner and, because it is chromatic, as a pitch detector for any instrument that plays a note. Metronome • Tempo from 30 to 300 BPM. • Simple and compound time signatures, subdivisions and accents. • Eight synthesized click sounds, chosen to cut through the instrument you are playing. • Setlists with sections to rehearse a whole set, with support for a Bluetooth page-turner pedal. • Keeps playing with the screen locked. Analyzer, chord detector and key finder • Real-time spectrum, harmonics of the note that is sounding, and level in dB SPL. • Music mode detects the key and the chords of what it hears and shows how confident it is: when it isn't sure, it says so instead of guessing.
