Sonic Gallery

Sonic Gallery is a music player for the audio already on your Android phone. It finds your music, plays it, and keeps everything on the device. WHAT IT DOES - Scans your phone's music library and lists it by track, album and artist - Plays in the background, with controls on the lock screen, in the notification shade and from your headset - Queue: add tracks, see what is next, reorder, remove, or tap any track to play it now - Playlists and favourites that stay on your phone - Crossfade between tracks, up to 12 seconds - A six-band equaliser with presets and your own custom curve - Search across your library, with recent searches remembered - Discover: recently added files, tracks you have not played yet, and a shuffle across everything - Picks up where you left off, in the same track at the same position - Voice notes and other non-music audio kept in their own tab, out of your music lists - Dark and light themes WHAT IT DOES NOT DO - No streaming. Sonic Gallery plays files that are already on your phone. - No account, no sign-in, no subscription - No ads - No analytics, no crash reporting, no tracking of any kind - Nothing is uploaded. Your playlists, favourites and settings are stored in the app's private storage and are left out of cloud backup. PERMISSIONS Sonic Gallery asks for access to music and audio so it can list the files on your phone. It asks to show notifications the first time music plays, so the playback controls can appear on the lock screen. That is all. You can erase everything the app stores at any time from Settings.
