Full description
Pick a colour. Every tile touching your corner that matches it turns with you. Keep going until the whole board is one colour — before you run out of moves. Simple to learn. Genuinely hard to master. And, unlike most flood-fill puzzles, never unfair. ★ EVERY BOARD IS PROVEN WINNABLE Boards are not just randomised and shipped. Each one is generated, then handed to a solver — and if the solver cannot clear it inside the move budget, it is thrown away and replaced. A 500-board automated test enforces this on every build. You will never lose to a board that could not be won. ★ EVERY BOARD HAS A PAR A beam-search solver works out the near-optimal move count for your board, and your stars are scored against it. Clearing the board is the easy part. Clearing it in par is the game. ★ THREE WAYS TO PLAY • JOURNEY — a ladder of levels. Stars unlock what comes next, and the grid grows every 20 levels. • DAILY CHALLENGE — one board a day, seeded from the date, identical for every player on Earth. Build a streak and keep it. • ZEN — no move limit, no fail state, endless boards. The puzzle without the pressure. ★ FOUR DIFFICULTY TIERS Relaxed — 10x10, 22 moves Steady — 14x14, 30 moves Sharp — 18x18, 39 moves Ruthless — 22x22, 47 moves Six colours at every size. The difficulty is the board, not the palette. ★ COLOUR YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE All 12 palettes are validated for perceptual separation — every pair of colours on a board sits at least 22 units apart in CIE-Lab space. Colourblind mode adds a distinct glyph to every tile, so colour never carries the information on its own. ★ TOOLS THAT RESPECT YOU • Long-press a colour to preview exactly what it would capture • Tap a tile on the board to play its colour directly • Undo — three free every level • Hint — from the same solver that verified your board • A hands-on tutorial with no walls of text to skip ★ NO BANNER ADS. NO INTERRUPTIONS. Color Flood is completely free. There are no banner ads, and an ad will never interrupt a puzzle in progress. The only ads are optional reward videos you can choose to watch for extra moves — and every board is winnable without ever watching one. ★ PLAYS ANYWHERE No account. No sign-in. No internet connection needed. Your progress stays on your device. ★ BUILT FOR EVERY PLAYER Light and dark themes. 12 palettes. Colourblind glyphs. Reduce-motion support that also follows your Android system setting. Haptics, sound effects and music, each switchable on its own. Screen-reader labels on the board and the colour palette. ★ SOUND WORTH TURNING ON Every effect is tuned to a C major pentatonic scale, one pitch per colour, so fast tapping stays musical instead of turning into noise. The flood even changes pitch with the size of the region you just captured. Made by SoftMobiXBD. Questions or bug reports: [email protected]
