ShortBlocker: No Reels/Shorts

ShortBlocker is a simple, free short-form content blocker for Reels, Shorts and short videos. No ads, no account, no tracking, no clutter. It does one thing: it stops the scroll trap and leaves the rest of your apps alone. ShortBlocker is a Reels blocker, Shorts blocker and short video blocker in one. When a short video opens in a supported app, ShortBlocker steps you out of it. You can still watch long videos, search, message friends and use the apps as normal. SIMPLE ON PURPOSE • It only blocks short-form video. No feeds, no stats, no streaks, no extra features you never asked for. • Switch on the app you want to block and you are done. • Free to use, with no ads. Ever. STILL WATCH WHAT FRIENDS SEND YOU • A Reel or short video sent to you in a message still plays, so you can watch it and reply. • The moment you swipe on to the recommended videos after it, ShortBlocker blocks them. YOU'RE IN CONTROL • You choose which apps to block. Change it whenever you like. • Pause blocking for as long as you want, up to 24 hours, and it switches back on by itself. • Turn ShortBlocker off at any time in Android settings. • If a video is blocked by mistake, or one slips through, report it in two taps. SUPPORTED APPS • YouTube Shorts • TikTok short videos • Instagram Reels • Facebook Reels • Snapchat Spotlight HOW IT WORKS 1. Open ShortBlocker and switch on the app you want to block. 2. Read the accessibility notice, agree, and turn ShortBlocker on in Android settings. 3. Use your apps as usual. Short videos are blocked as soon as they appear. WHY PEOPLE USE IT • Stop doomscrolling without deleting the apps you still need • Keep YouTube for tutorials and long videos, without falling into Shorts • Take a break from blocking when you choose to, then get back on track automatically PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No ads, no account, no tracking • ShortBlocker reads the screen on your phone only. Nothing leaves it unless you look at a report and tap Send. • A screen report contains only the layout of that one screen, never its text or pictures. You see exactly what is sent first. FREE AND PREMIUM • Free: block one app at a time, and change which one whenever you like • Premium: block all five apps at once. Choose monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time in Google Play. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE ShortBlocker uses Android's Accessibility service to see which screen is open in the five supported apps and to leave a short video. To tell short videos from regular ones, it reads the screen layout and on-screen text of those apps on your phone. That information is processed on your device and is not stored or shared. You turn the service on yourself in Android settings and can turn it off at any time. ShortBlocker is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Meta or Snap. Those names are trademarks of their owners. Questions or feedback: [email protected]
