SnoozeWar: Sleep & Alarm Clock

SnoozeWar (Snooze War) is an alarm clock, a bedtime app blocker and a sleep tracker in one app. It gets you up in the morning and gets you to bed at night. ALARM CLOCK THAT WAKES YOU UP • Turn off the alarm with a mission. Take a photo of a place in your home, walk some steps, say or type a sentence, solve math, remember tiles, repeat a colour sequence, shake the phone, or tap. • You must be awake to finish the mission. No silent swipe from the lock screen. • Made for heavy sleepers. The alarm does not stop with a swipe. It stops when you finish the mission. • Bright mission screens. Light helps your brain wake up. • Alarm sounds made for waking. You can also use your own ringtone. • Snooze is your choice. Allow one snooze, or turn snooze off for each alarm. NO WAY TO SKIP THE ALARM • Resist volume down: you cannot lower the alarm volume while it rings. • Resist escape (optional): while the alarm rings, it brings you back to the alarm if you open the power menu, phone settings, recent apps or the uninstall screen. • Prevent uninstall (optional): stops you deleting the app to skip your alarm or your bedtime. • Watchdog: checks on you if you fall back asleep after the alarm. APP BLOCKER FOR BEDTIME • Set a bedtime. SnoozeWar reminds you when it is time to wind down. • Choose how strict it is: a reminder, a stronger nudge, or full app blocking. • The app blocker covers the apps you choose with a full-screen reminder, so you stop scrolling and go to sleep. • You can change it or turn it off at any time. Phone calls and emergency calls are never blocked. SLEEP TRACKER AND SCREEN TIME • See when you fell asleep, when you woke up, and how long you slept. HOW SNOOZEWAR USES ACCESSIBILITY SnoozeWar uses Android's Accessibility service for two optional features. The bedtime app blocker uses it to see which app is open, so it can show the reminder over it. Resist escape uses it only while an alarm is ringing, to bring you back to the alarm and to close the power menu, phone settings and the uninstall screen. It reads only the app's name, never your screen content, and everything stays on your device. You turn these on yourself, and you can turn them off at any time in the app or in Android settings. HOW SNOOZEWAR USES DEVICE ADMIN Prevent uninstall is optional and off by default. It uses Android's Device Administrator permission for one thing: while it is on, Android will not uninstall SnoozeWar. It cannot lock your phone, erase it, or read anything, and it collects no data. To uninstall the app, turn Prevent uninstall off in the app, or go to Android Settings, Security, Device admin apps and turn SnoozeWar off. Then uninstall as normal. Set your alarm, set your bedtime, and wake up on time tomorrow.
