Full description
Hear your moments. Every camera gives you the picture. The sound of that second is gone before you think to record it. With Sniq it is still there. While the camera is open, the last few seconds of sound stay in the phone's memory. Press the shutter and the sound from just before it is already yours. You are never late to a laugh, a splash, a "look at this". What you get is a photo that holds still while two seconds of that moment play. Those two seconds are chosen for you, the ones with something in them. There is nothing to trim and nothing to decide. You send it and it arrives with its sound. Share it in WhatsApp, in Telegram, on Instagram, wherever it ends up, any network. Every sniq is kept on your phone, so you can shoot with no signal at all and send it days later, as many times as you like. The microphone listens, but nothing is saved until you take the photo, and nothing leaves your phone unless you send it. WHAT A SNIQ IS A photo with sound. It looks like a photo and it plays like a moment. If you were looking for a live photo that actually makes a sound, this is it: the image holds still, the moment plays, and the audio is from the real instant, including the part before you pressed. WHAT IT DOES Camera with sound: the photo and the audio of that instant, captured together. Keeps the seconds before the shutter, not only the ones after. Picks the two seconds worth keeping on its own, and you can reframe them by hand by dragging over the waveform. Three and five second timer, for when you want to be in the photo yourself. Tap to focus, pinch to zoom, torch for the dark end of the table. Its own gallery with all your sniqs, plus a copy in the phone gallery so other apps can find it. Shares through the Android menu to any app or network, and it arrives with its sound. NO INTERNET, NO ACCOUNT, NO ADS Sniq does not request Android's internet permission. That is not a promise about how we behave: it is a property of the app that anyone can verify by looking at the permissions it declares. There is no server to send anything to. It works offline and with no signal: in airplane mode, on the subway, out in the country, at a party where nothing gets through. An offline camera that captures anyway. No accounts, no sign up, no analytics, no ads and no third party services. Sniq never asks who you are and has no way of knowing. Your photos and your sound stay on your phone. Free. No account. No ads. Works in airplane mode.
