Ember by SnapGIS

Ember is real-time team tracking and safety for businesses with people in the field. No hardware, no setup — download, invite your team, and go. REAL-TIME GPS TRACKING See every team member on a shared map. Movement type detection shows who's on foot, in a vehicle, or on a bicycle — no check-ins needed. SOS ALERTING One tap broadcasts your exact location to designated responders instantly. Built for lone workers and high-risk environments. GEOFENCING Save locations and get notified when team members arrive, depart, or exceed a set duration on-site. See everyone inside a location during emergencies. ENCRYPTED MESSAGING Send text and photo messages to individuals or groups. End-to-end encrypted, built into the app. DIGITAL FORMS & CHECKLISTS Vehicle inspections, safety reports, incident logs — configurable forms that work offline and sync automatically. VEHICLE TRIP LOGGING Track journeys using your phone's GPS. Trips, routes, and stops logged automatically — no hardware needed. SATELLITE CONNECTIVITY Integrates with Garmin inReach to extend tracking and messaging beyond cellular coverage. PRIVACY FIRST Users control when tracking is active. Set schedules, pause anytime. Location requests when tracking is off require explicit approval. Data is encrypted and never shared with third parties.
