Full description

Snail Walk is a walking game and step counter with one twist: if you stop walking, you lose. Bob is a giant snail on the path behind you. He's not chasing you personally - he's just going this way, at his own steady pace, whether the app is open or not. Your real daily step count, synced from Health Connect, is the only thing keeping him behind you. Every fitness app rewards you for moving. Snail Walk is the only one where stopping has a consequence. HOW THE STEP COUNTER GAME WORKS - Connect Health Connect. Your real steps become distance on the path. - Hold to advance, spending your banked steps to move your pilgrim forward - or save them for a day you can't walk. - Bob's pace never pauses, even when you're not playing. - Get caught, and you die. Your tombstone is placed at your exact distance, visible to every other player who walks past it, forever. A WALKING GAME WITH A SHARED WORLD Every player walks the same path. Pass other pilgrims. Visit tombstones and pay respects with a candle, stone, or flower. Climb the Hall of Fame leaderboard for the furthest distance ever survived. SET YOUR OWN DIFFICULTY Bob's speed is yours to adjust, in either direction, any time - the only setting in the game that's never for sale. FAIR PRICING, NO GIMMICKS One-time purchase or subscription. No ads. No free tier. No pay-to-win - cosmetics change how you look, never how the chase plays out. Requires Health Connect step-count access. No GPS or location data is ever collected.

What's new

Bob is here. He's been waiting. A giant snail follows you down the path. Your real daily steps are the only thing keeping him off your back. Stop walking, and he catches up. This is the only walking app where you can lose.
