SMSO Education for Tutors

SMSO Tutor is the companion app for tutors teaching with SMSO Education. It brings your timetable, your lesson records, your requests and your pay period together on your phone. Sign in with the account your school administrator issued you. HOME Today's lessons, the lessons still to record, and your total for the week. A "Needs your attention" section surfaces reschedule requests awaiting your response and lessons you have not written up yet. LESSONS Every lesson as a list, or as a Month, Week or Day calendar. The month grid shows your load by time of day. Open a lesson for its class, student, subject, time and status. RECORD A LESSON After teaching, record the lesson status, whether the student arrived on time, homework completion, what was covered, the homework you set and any notes. REPORTS Write, review and update progress reports for your students. TIME OFF AND LESSON CHANGES Request time off and track each request. When a family asks to reschedule or cancel, suggest dates that work for you or pick from the times they proposed. Requests made under 24 hours' notice are flagged. CLASSES AND STUDENTS The classes your administrator assigned you, their resources, and the students in them with parent contact details. PAYROLL The payroll period your administrator published: lessons, duration, adjustments, extra points and EP duration per class, each figure explained. PROFILE Personal and contact details, emergency contact, online meeting information, payslips link, and your weekly availability. Change your password any time. NOTIFICATIONS Push notifications for lesson changes, time-off decisions and reports. REQUIREMENTS SMSO Tutor requires an SMSO Education tutor account, issued by your school administrator. Accounts cannot be created in the app. Parents should use the SMSO Parent app instead.
