RECORD EVENTS LOCALLY • Start a recording manually or use configured detection triggers with Pro. • Adjust recording duration, pre-event and post-event buffers, and the cooldown between recordings. • Keep saved recordings on your device and play them back in the app. • Filter history by camera, time range and event type, then open a clip to review its details. CHOOSE WHAT TO DETECT • Configure motion, person and sound detection for each camera with Pro. • Adjust sensitivity and detection thresholds to suit the scene. • Define detection regions to focus on selected parts of the image. • Choose combinations of detection conditions to trigger recordings. SET UP EVENT ALERTS • Enable local event notifications on the Android device running Smart RTSP. • Configure SMTP email or Webhook destinations for event alerts. • Set per-camera preferences and do-not-disturb periods. External alerts use your configured destinations and require network access. LIVE-VIEWING EXPERIENCE AND PRO The app includes two continuous hours of live viewing, starting when the first camera frame is displayed. Closing the app does not pause the timer. This is not a Google Play subscription free trial. The two-hour experience includes live viewing only. Pro is required to continue viewing afterward, and for multiple cameras, recording, recording history, detection and background monitoring from the start. COMPATIBILITY Your camera must expose a supported stream or interface. ONVIF discovery needs access to its local network; PTZ requires a compatible camera. Remote viewing requires a reachable network path, which this app does not create. Performance depends on your device, streams and connection.
