HA Screen Dimmer places a translucent black overlay over your TV screen, letting you reduce brightness beyond what your TV's hardware allows. Perfect for late-night viewing, reducing eye strain, or ambient lighting control. HOME ASSISTANT INTEGRATION The premium unlock adds MQTT & HTTP REST API support with full Home Assistant auto-discovery (via MQTT). As soon as the app connects to your MQTT broker, it appears as a light entity in HA — no YAML configuration needed. Control dimming through automations, scripts, dashboards, or voice assistants. Supports JSON-format commands with brightness levels from 0-255.
