Dive into the curve, release at the perfect moment, graze the wall by a pixel and shave off hundredths. Slingstar is a one-finger gravity racing game: a retro arcade racer where every race is a time trial and every hundredth is somebody's win. Race the ghosts of real players, climb a ranked league, or chase medals on your own. HOW IT PLAYS – Hold to pull, release to fling. Letting go at the closest point of a curve keeps your speed, like a slingshot. – Put your finger behind the comet and the pull works as a brake. – Holding drains energy and releasing refills it, so every hold is a choice. – Graze a wall without touching it for extra speed. A crash costs about a second and a half. – A short interactive tutorial teaches the controls in a minute, and the optional trajectory preview shows where you are heading. COMPETE – Ghost duels: race the recorded run of a real pilot whose rating is close to yours, on the same track. Their ghost flies on screen with you and the gap shows at every checkpoint. One attempt, no pause, leaving counts as a loss. – Asynchronous: nobody waits for anybody. When no human run is available you race a computer rival, always labelled BOT. – League: BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM, DIAMOND, MASTER, LEGEND. Seasons last 28 days and open with 5 placement matches. – Verified leaderboards: the server re-simulates every run before it counts, so cheated times never reach the rankings. – Daily challenge: one track for everyone, unlimited attempts, only your best time counts.
