SkillDisplay: Microcredentials

The SkillDisplay Microcredentials app turns your verified skills into living, shareable credentials. Discover microcredentials from your community, claim the ones you've earned, and collect them as you grow from Silver to Diamond. Every credential is verifiable in real time by QR — aligned with the EU Recommendation on micro-credentials — so what you can do is proven, not just claimed. Keep track of your collection, share it anywhere, and scan others' credentials to verify them on the spot. SkillDisplay (https://skilldisplay.eu) is a freely accessible web platform where learners, educators, businesses and certifiers collaborate for mutual benefit on the base of a common language - skill definitions. SkillDisplay was developed under the EU Erasmus+ Programme and aims to offer learners access to a skill definition standard provided by certifiers and subject matter experts. We embrace EU-wide standards for education and currently work on bringing skills covered by the European Skills/Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) standard to the platform. Our methodology strifes to bring comparability and transparency to learning efforts and verification of proven competency. Each skill on SkillDisplay is defined by clear learning goals, a concise description and required skills that should be learned before… all provided by openly visible skill owners that defined the very skill. SkillDisplay cooperates with acknowledged experts and certifiers to create these skill definitions and skill trees, ready to use for you.
