SKANAROUND

SKANAROUND — discover the people around you. SKANAROUND turns the space around you into a live radar. Open the app and the people nearby appear as glowing beacons, positioned by real distance and direction, so you can see who is close right now — at a campus, a conference, a café, a festival or your neighbourhood. No friend lists, no swiping through strangers a hundred miles away. Just who is actually here. How it works Sign up, pick a username and add a photo. Grant location access and your radar comes alive with the people around you. Tap a beacon to see their profile and how far away they are. Send a signal. If they signal back, a private chat opens for both of you. Nobody can message you out of the blue. Chat only unlocks when both people agree — mutual interest is built into the product, not bolted on. Features • Live proximity radar with automatic zoom so crowded places stay readable • Heading-up compass mode — beacons sit in the real direction of the person • Accurate distance using GPS smoothing and precise geodesic maths • Adjustable scan range, up to the limit set by the community • Verified members shown with a distinct beacon colour • Mutual signalling: no chat without a yes from both sides • Fast private chat with photos, wallpapers and read state • Optional radar sound alerts when someone new appears • Optional biometric lock so only you can open the app • Light and dark themes Privacy and safety come first Your exact coordinates are never shown to anyone. Other users only ever see an approximate distance and direction — never a map pin, never an address. You choose when to appear on the radar and can go invisible at any time. • Block or report any user from their profile or from inside a chat • A moderation team reviews reports, with a 24-hour response commitment • 18+ only, enforced by an age check at sign-up • Delete your account and all your data from inside the app, any time • No ads, no advertising ID, no selling your data to anyone SKANAROUND Pro An optional subscription unlocks extras such as a longer scan range, radar visibility controls and other premium features. Everything essential — discovery, signalling and chat — stays free. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or cancelled in your Google Play account settings at any time. Real people. Real proximity. Real conversations. Terms: https://skanaround.bytenetdigital.com/terms Privacy: https://skanaround.bytenetdigital.com/privacy
