Sinatabu

ONCE UPON A FIND. Sinatabu is your shopping assistant for the African creative marketplace. Tell us what you're looking for — a fabric, a craftsman, a hard-to-find part, a stylist, a household service — and shops and personal shoppers from across all 54 African countries respond with quotes, photos, and offers, usually within the hour. WHY SINATABU Africa is full of incredible makers, sellers, and stylists. The problem isn't supply — it's discovery. Sinatabu turns "where do I even start?" into a single post that reaches the right people across the continent. No social-media DM hunting. No driving across town. No third-party gatekeepers. Just a direct line to people who actually have what you need. POST A FIND Type what you're after, set a budget range, attach a photo if it helps. We tag your find automatically so the right vendors see it instantly. Whether it's an item, a service, or a professional you're hiring, your post gets routed the right way. GET CONNECTS Shops and personal shoppers respond with offers — often with quotation documents, sample photos, and delivery timelines. You see who's serious. You pick who you want to deal with. DEAL DIRECTLY Every connect opens a private deal room: chat, share images and locations, agree on price, lock in delivery, mark the deal done. No middleman in the conversation. SHOPPING LISTS Have a bigger run? Build a list with multiple items and let vendors bid as a bundle — coverage-ranked so you see who can actually fulfil the most of what you need. Accept what you want, decline the rest. VIBE-ALIKES Even after a connect lands, we keep surfacing "vibe-alike" alternates — shops and personal shoppers that match the same energy as your find, in case you want a second opinion or a backup quote. NOTIFICATIONS THAT RESPECT YOU Real-time push when you get a connect, a message, or a status change — and that's it. No marketing spam. You can mute, snooze, or unsubscribe per category from inside the app. PRIVACY & SECURITY We don't sell your data. You can delete your account and all your data from inside the app — every deletion is honoured within 90 days. Optional multi-factor authentication is available for extra protection on sign-in. WORKS ANYWHERE IN AFRICA 54 countries. Local currencies. Phone-number formats for every African dialling plan. Date and greeting localisation for 30+ countries. Built so a shop in Kampala can quote a customer in Lagos without either side needing a passport or a foreign-currency account. OUR MISSION Sinatabu was founded in 2021 with one goal: help eradicate extreme poverty in Africa by encouraging trade between African communities. Every find you post puts money in the pocket of someone making, sourcing, or hand-delivering goods on the continent. Every connect builds a relationship that didn't exist yesterday. Once upon a find. Yours starts here.
