Upcycle Me

Turn unwanted materials into useful products—and explore whether upcycling could become your home-based side hustle. Upcycle Me uses AI to help you discover practical ways to reuse discarded wood, tyres, textiles and plastic. It combines creative project ideas with step-by-step guidance, estimated costs and potential selling prices. HOW IT WORKS • Take or upload a photo of an unwanted item or material. • Receive four different AI-generated upcycling ideas. • Select a project and explore its materials, tools, numbered steps and safety guidance. • Review an estimated making cost and potential selling price. • View a four-panel visual guide to support the building process. CREATE FOR YOUR HOME OR TEST A SIDE HUSTLE Upcycle Me is designed for people who want to make useful items, develop practical skills or explore a small home-based upcycling business. Begin with materials you already have, test different product ideas and learn what may be possible before investing heavily. You could create items for your own home, make gifts, test products with potential customers or explore selling locally and online. The app can help you think through the practical side of a project, including what you may need, how it could be made and what it might potentially sell for. It is a starting point for learning and experimentation—not a promise of business success. OUR MISSION Upcycle Me is an initiative of Simply Green L.L.C., a women-led upcycling business in Kosovo. We connect material reuse with practical learning, entrepreneurship and women’s economic empowerment. Our aim is to help more people see discarded materials as a possible resource for creativity, skills development and low-cost self-employment. Home-based production should only be considered where suitable space, tools and safe working conditions are available. USE WITH CARE Upcycle Me is designed for adults aged 18 and over. AI-generated suggestions may contain mistakes. Always inspect materials and review the tools, instructions and safety guidance before starting. Seek qualified help for tasks beyond your skills. Project ideas, cost estimates and potential selling prices are provided for general guidance only. Actual costs, demand and prices vary by location and market. Upcycle Me does not guarantee product safety, sales, profit or income. An internet connection is required for AI analysis and guide generation. Contact: [email protected]
