Full description
simple apnea — train your breath-hold, distraction-free. simple apnea is a clean, minimalist breath-hold trainer for freedivers, spearfishers, and anyone practicing static apnea. No accounts, no ads, no clutter — just a high-contrast timer that stays out of your way while you're under pressure. TRAINING TABLES BUILT ON REAL FREEDIVING METHODOLOGY • CO2 Table — constant holds with shrinking rest to build carbon dioxide (hypercapnia) tolerance • O2 Table — growing holds with fixed rest to train low-oxygen (hypoxia) adaptation • No-Contraction — hold until your first diaphragm contraction, log it, stop • Wonka Table — hold a controlled distance past the first contraction • FRC Table — short holds after a passive exhale that mimic depth compression • Pyramid — ramp up to a peak hold, then ride back down • Custom — build your own hold/rest rotation and save it as a reusable preset EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO TRAIN • Max Hold sessions — 1–3 fully relaxed maximum holds with long guided rest • Square Breathing — box breathing warm-ups and recovery • Personal best tracking — quick PB updates and automatic new-PB detection • Progress graphs — see how often you train and watch your PB climb • Audio & vibration cues — choose when you're prompted during holds • Built-in safety info — educational guidance and blackout-safety reminders on every table. Never train solo in water. SIMPLE BY DESIGN • Offline-first — works with no internet, no account, no data collection • Lightweight and battery-friendly • Clean, high-contrast interface built for focus Breathe slow. Dive deep. Important: static apnea requires proper instruction. Take a certified freediving course (AIDA, Molchanovs, SSI, PADI) and never practice holds in water without a trained buddy. Consult a physician before starting breath-hold training.
