OATH - Keep Your Word

OATH is an accountability app built on one principle: **your word should mean something**. You don't track habits here. You make vows. You keep them. That's it. Swear an oath to yourself. Do what you promised. Prove it. If you miss a deadline by even one second, your streak dies and you're locked out until tomorrow. No rescheduling. No mercy. No excuses. That's the whole system. And it works because the stakes are real. ### How It Works **1. Swear a Vow** Not "try to go to the gym"—*"I will go to the gym Monday through Friday, every week, no matter what."* **2. Choose Your Commitment** - **Daily**: Every single day - **Weekly**: Specific days each week (3x, 5x, however many) - **Once**: By a specific date - **Windows**: Time-based commitments (sleep 11:30 PM - 7:45 AM, study 6 AM - 9 AM) **3. Prove You Kept It** - **Photo**: Take proof (selfie at gym, handwritten pages, finished project) - **Focus Lock**: Lock your phone and stay locked for the session. The app monitors your screen **4. Your Streak Lives or Dies** - Submit proof by 11:59 PM = streak continues - Miss the deadline by one second = streak dies - No extensions. No makeup days. The vow is either kept or broken **5. Own the Result** See your streaks climb. Watch your commitment accumulate. Or face the death of a streak and start over. That's accountability. ### Privacy & Simplicity - **Local first**: Your vows live on your device - **No cloud sync**: Your data doesn't leave your phone (unless you choose to back it up) - **No accounts**: Create vows immediately - **No ads**: Just your vows and the clock - **No notifications begging you to do things**: We don't manipulate you. You committed. You know what to do ### Getting Started 1. Download OATH 2. Swear your first vow 3. Do what you promised 4. Prove it 5. Build your streak 6. Stay accountable **That's it.**
