SignalVibe turns your phone or tablet into a personal radio and content explorer. Walk through your home, your neighborhood, or a new city, and watch the invisible web of WiFi networks and Bluetooth devices around you come to life with interactive content and information (vibes!) - from your local food vendors and services, to individuals transmitting from their own phone or tablet. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan nearby WiFi and Bluetooth signals that represent cafes, shops, services and devices that are nearby and useful to you in real time • See which networks and devices have been spotted at your current location before and see what vibes others have associated to these signals • Post vibes to places and things around you via signals • Claim ownership of signals that belong to you to manage vibes • Broadcast your own custom Bluetooth beacon so other SignalVibe users can find you and your shop or personal details if you choose. PRIVACY FIRST SignalVibe was built around a simple idea: you shouldn't have to hand over your identity to explore the world's signals. • No account, no email, no password • Your identity is a random anonymous ID generated on your device • You can back it up, restore it, or wipe it whenever you want • Location is used only to tag the signals you scan, never sold or shared with advertisers GREAT FOR • Anyone looking for information on the shops, locations and devices around them • Shop owners, food truck vendors, mobile businesses of any kind that want to transmit and control content around them from menus, to pricing, payment preferences, anything. • Consumers who want to see reviews from others, advise, photos relevant to where they are anywhere, even when GPS does not work - deep in buildings, on moving trains, even in in-flight in airplanes. • Curious people who like knowing what's around them PERMISSIONS SignalVibe asks only for what it needs to scan: location (required by Android for any WiFi/BLE scanning), Bluetooth, WiFi state, and an optional camera permission if you want to attach photos to signals.
