Shubh Ghadi: Choghadiya

Shubh Ghadi shows you exactly when to start something new — and when to wait. Open the app and instantly see which Choghadiya period is running right now, displayed as a smooth progress ring. The app covers the complete day and night cycle (all 16 periods) with accurate start and end times calculated for your exact location. WHAT YOU GET • Live progress ring that fills as the current period advances • Full day and night Choghadiya timeline with colour-coded dots • Inauspicious periods highlighted: Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, and Gulika Kaal with remaining-time countdowns • Auspicious windows: Abhijit Muhurat and other favourable moments • Complete daily Panchang: Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, sunrise and sunset • Multiple home-screen widgets (compact ring, day strip, full detail, clock) that update every minute without opening the app • Lock-screen widget showing time alongside the current period • GPS-based or manual city selection for precise timings • Notifications before any auspicious or inauspicious window starts • Watch a short video to enjoy the app ad-free for 24 hours HOW IT WORKS All astronomical and Panchang calculations run entirely on your device. No internet is needed for timings — only for displaying ads. Pick any city or use your current location; the app computes sunrise, sunset, and all derived periods locally. WIDGETS THAT STAY CURRENT Add a widget to your home screen and see the live Choghadiya at a glance. Choose from a minimal ring, a full-day dot strip, a large card with upcoming periods, or an iPhone-style clock. Each widget refreshes every minute and adapts its layout when you resize it. Designed for anyone who checks muhurat before travel, purchases, meetings, or rituals.
