Full description
Twenty-five minutes of work, five of rest, a longer break after four rounds. Pomodoro Timer: Focus & Work runs that cycle for you: press Start, work until the notification, take the break it gives you, and watch the day's count climb toward your goal. Every finished pomodoro is saved, so the Stats screen can show which weekdays and which hours you actually get things done. No sign-up, no lists to maintain, no settings to learn before the first session. One screen, one big button, one number that matters today. WHY YOU'LL LOVE POMODORO TIMER: FOCUS & WORK • Your own intervals: Pomodoro Length from 1 to 240 minutes, Short Break 1 to 60, Long Break 1 to 120. The defaults are the classic 25 / 5 / 15; a slider or a number picker changes them in seconds. • Long Break After: choose how many pomodoros earn the long rest, from 1 to 10. Four by default. • Daily Goal: pick 1 to 30 pomodoros a day. The home screen shows today's count, and the notification says "Daily goal achieved!" the moment you hit it. • Notifications at the right second: "Pomodoro is finished", then "Time for a short break." or "Time for a long break."; after the break, "Time to Work." They are scheduled for the exact end time, so they arrive even with the app in the background. Settings > Notifications turns them off if you prefer silence. • Keeps counting when you leave: the timer runs in the background and picks up where it was if you reopen the app before the round ends. The screen stays awake while the app is open. • Pause, Resume, Stop, Skip: pause a round, stop it, or skip a break when you are in flow. • Day, Week, Month, Year: swipe the counter on the home screen to see how many pomodoros you have finished in each period. • Stats that answer a real question: an all-time activity heatmap (tap for dates, double tap for the number), the current month's chart, "The most productive days of the week" and "The most productive time of day". Plan your hard work for the hours that already work for you. • Useful Content: 74 articles on time management, routines and attention, in the app. • Light and dark themes, 73 languages. HOW IT WORKS 1. Press Start. The ring counts down 25 minutes (or whatever you set). 2. When the notification comes, take the Short Break. After four rounds you get the Long Break instead. 3. Open Stats at the end of the week and see where the pomodoros landed. PERFECT FOR • Students: a 25-minute block is small enough to start and long enough to finish a problem set. • Remote workers and freelancers who need a clear line between "on" and "off". • Writers, coders and designers doing deep work that dies with every interruption. • Anyone who opens the laptop, loses an hour, and would like to know where it went. TIPS • Keep 25 / 5 for the first week before changing anything. The classic lengths are classic for a reason. • Set Daily Goal to what you actually did last week, not what you wish you did. Raise it by one when you hit it five days in a row. • Check "The most productive time of day" after two weeks and move your hardest work into that window. YOUR DATA, ON YOUR PHONE Completed pomodoros and your settings are stored locally on the device. Nothing is uploaded and there is no sign-in; the only online feature is the article library. Reset All in Settings wipes the history when you want a clean start. Pomodoro timer, focus timer and study timer: the Pomodoro technique with work and break cycles, a daily goal, notifications, and stats by day, week, month and year that show your most productive weekdays and hours. Pomodoro means tomato in Italian: the technique beats procrastination and builds concentration for deep work, exam prep or homework, with a big countdown you can read from across the room. Download Pomodoro Timer and give the next 25 minutes a single job.
