Short Pencil: Golf Scorecard

Short Pencil is a simple golf score keeper for golfers who would rather not carry the technology. No GPS, no swing tracking, no ads and no account. It keeps score, and when the round is over it hands you a country-club scorecard written in pencil, signed at the scorer's table, and ready to keep. THE CARD • Every score pencilled by hand, with birdies circled and bogeys boxed, the way you'd mark a card on the course • Your club's name, par, yardage and stroke index, printed like the card in the clubhouse • Four card stocks (Clubhouse Green, Links Navy, Claret and Black Tie), four styles of handwriting, and a seal, crest or monogram for every club • Sign it with your finger, and have a playing partner attest it FINDING YOUR COURSE • Search tens of thousands of courses by name, or find the ones near you • Pick your tees and the card fills itself in: par and yardage for every hole, with course rating and slope • If a course's card isn't in the directory, Short Pencil looks for it on the club's own website ON THE COURSE • Big, quiet buttons, one hole at a time, for up to four players • Track your putts, fairways and penalty strokes if you like; greens in regulation are worked out for you • Scoring works without signal, and every round is saved on your phone AFTER THE ROUND • Email the finished card from your own mail app, or turn on automatic emails and every card you sign is sent to you • Save it or share it anywhere • Every card kept in your round journal, with your stats and averages over time MEMBERSHIP Your first week is free. After that, a Short Pencil membership is $5.99 a month and lets you start new rounds. Cancel any time in Google Play. Every card you've kept stays yours either way: open, save and share your history whenever you like. YOUR ROUNDS STAY YOURS Scores, cards and signatures live on your phone. No tracking, no ads, nothing sold. Read more at shortpencilcards.com/privacy. Questions or ideas? Write to [email protected].
