Full description

ShommyX Mobile is how you call Nigeria without paying international rates, and how you keep a Nigerian line topped up from anywhere. CALLS THAT COST WHAT THEY SHOULD Call any Nigerian number straight from the app. The Nigerian leg of your call is carried domestically, which is why it costs a fraction of what a foreign carrier charges to dial the same number. Calls between ShommyX users are included, and a call keeps running when you switch to another app. AIRTIME AND DATA Top up any Nigerian network in seconds, for yourself or for someone at home. Buy data bundles at the price you would pay in Lagos. BILLS AND GIFT CARDS Pay electricity and other bills and get your token back in the app. Buy gift cards from the same wallet. TWO ACCOUNTS, SIDE BY SIDE You hold a naira account and a dollar account. Fund the naira one with a Nigerian card, the dollar one with an international card, and spend whichever you like. Money is never converted between them, so nobody pays an exchange rate they did not ask for. A WALLET YOU CONTROL You see your balance before you buy and a receipt after. Money in your wallet buys airtime, data, bills, gift cards and calls, and that is all it does. ShommyX Mobile is not a bank and does not transfer money between users.

What's new

Incoming calls ring again. The call notification was being dismissed a fraction of a second after it appeared, which cut the ringtone and the vibration off almost immediately — the screen would light up and then go quiet and dark. It now rings until you answer or the caller gives up. The incoming call screen also stays up on a locked phone, so you can answer without unlocking first.
