ShareMiles: Carpool and Rides Live

A Better Way to Share the Road ShareMiles helps you find people travelling in the same direction, request a seat in their vehicle, or offer your empty seats when you’re already making the journey. Whether you’re commuting to work, travelling from campus or heading to another city, ShareMiles gives you more choice over who you travel with and where you sit. Choose Your Travel Companions Prefer travelling with women? Use women’s travel preferences to discover rides where one or more women are expected to be part of the journey. Availability and the final travel group may change. Travel Within Your Circles Join Circles created for your company, campus, community or trusted groups. Find rides with people you may already know or have something in common with. Know Your Travel Group See the host and fellow travellers associated with a ride before sending your request. Know who you may be travelling with and make an informed choice. Choose Your Preferred Seat Front seat or window seat? Select the seat you prefer when it is available. Help When a Host Cancels If your host cancels an eligible ride, ShareMiles can help search for another matching option. Replacement rides depend on availability and are not guaranteed. Leaving Now? Find hosts who have already started their journey and are heading your way. You can also search for rides today, tomorrow or on another date. Share Your Empty Seats Already making the journey? Become a host, offer your available seats and connect with travellers going along your route. With ShareMiles, You Can: • Search by pickup location and destination • Find hosts already heading your way • Choose your travel date and passenger count • Use women’s travel preferences • Travel within trusted Circles • View your expected travel group • Request your preferred available seat • Send and manage ride requests • Offer empty seats as a host • Get help finding another match after eligible cancellations ShareMiles is a ride-sharing platform, not an on-demand taxi service. Ride availability, seat availability, travel-group composition and replacement matches depend on participating hosts and travellers.
