Aurelia Ledger

Aurelia Ledger helps you organize shared expenses in local groups without accounts, lending, or financial products. Add participants with local nicknames, choose a currency and rounding method, and view each group’s expenses, participant balances, recent activity, and settlement progress. The app works offline, makes no network requests, and stores its data on your device. Record a purchase with its title, amount, date, payer, participants, split method, and an optional note. Divide costs equally, by exact amounts, shares, or percentages, with a preview and clear validation before saving. Browse the expense journal by date, filter by participant, period, or category, and sort entries by date or amount. Entries can be reviewed, edited, duplicated, or deleted with confirmation. Create a minimal settlement plan from the group’s current balances, then see who should send each payment, who should receive it, and how much remains. Mark settlements as completed, undo a completion, or adjust an amount within the outstanding balance. Explore totals, average spending, participant contributions, category breakdowns, and changes over time. Groups can also be searched, sorted, archived, restored, or deleted after confirmation. Customize the default currency, rounding, initial split method, amount precision, archived-group visibility, deletion confirmation, and local reminders. Onboarding can be opened again from settings, while empty and local-error states explain what to do next. Confirmed changes are saved immediately in local storage, and unsaved form changes are protected by an exit prompt. Local settlement reminders are optional and turned off by default.
