Full description
AlarmVault is a reliable alarm clock with a private, encrypted space built in. ALARM • Set as many alarms as you need, each with its own time, name and sound • Choose which days of the week each alarm rings on — weekdays, weekends, or any mix • Name an alarm so you know what it is for when it goes off • Turn vibration on or off and choose the snooze length, per alarm • Full-screen alarm that appears over the lock screen • Survives a restart — your alarms are restored automatically after the phone reboots, after an app update, and after a time or time-zone change SECURE BOX • Keep photos, videos, PDFs and other files in a private area • Files are encrypted on your device with AES-256, using a key held in the Android Keystore that cannot be exported • Open videos, PDFs and photos in built-in viewers — you do not have to export a file to look at it • Videos are shown as a gallery with a picture from the video, not just a filename • Swipe sideways to move between photos or videos; brightness, volume and scrubbing each have their own gesture • Everything stays blurred until you hold a finger on it, so a glance over your shoulder shows nothing • Write private notes that are encrypted the same way • Rename any file or extracted folder from its press-and-hold menu • Protected by a PIN, password or pattern that you choose, with optional biometric unlock • Repeated wrong attempts trigger a delay that grows with each failure • Locks itself when the app leaves the foreground, and you can switch that off • A Recovery Key can be issued and shown once, so a forgotten credential does not have to mean losing access • Screenshots and screen recording are blocked while Secure Box is open APPS BOX • A separate protected area with its own lock and its own Recovery Key, independent of Secure Box • Choose apps you would rather not see on your home screen • If you set AlarmVault as your Home app, those apps are left out of its home pages and app drawer • Protected apps stay usable — open them from inside Apps Box once unlocked • To be clear about what this does: the apps stay installed and remain visible in Android Settings, in search, and in any other launcher. This is hiding from AlarmVault's own home screen, not system-level hiding. • Switch back to your previous home screen at any time from Android's own settings, and your apps appear there again HOME SCREEN • Multi-page home screen with the current weather, day and date • A fixed dock for your phone, messages, browser and camera apps • Swipe up for the app drawer, and remove or add back shortcuts as you like • Works with apps in a work profile • Follows your phone's light or dark theme HELP • A built-in guide in English and Urdu explains every part of the app PREMIUM • Premium removes the ad before Secure Box and Apps Box. Every feature works the same with or without it • Subscribe monthly or yearly through Google Play, or get it free: watch 3 ads for 1 day, or 15 ads for 7 days PRIVACY • No account, no sign-in, no server of our own • Ads come from Google AdMob. They appear only before Secure Box or Apps Box opens (when you are online and without Premium) and as rewarded ads you start yourself, never inside your vaults. In Europe, the UK and some US states you are asked for consent first • Your alarms, files, notes and app list never leave your device • Apart from the ads and Google Play, the only thing the app sends off the device is an approximate location for the optional weather display, and only if you allow it. Weather data comes from MET Norway. • Send feedback opens your own email app with a draft you write and send yourself — nothing is sent automatically Privacy policy: https://wwetvpk-web.github.io/alarmvault-privacy/ Contact: [email protected]

What's new

New: AlarmVault Premium. Subscribe monthly or yearly, or get it free - watch 3 ads for 1 day or 15 ads for 7 days. Without Premium, a short ad now plays before Secure Box or Apps Box opens when you are online. Offline there is no ad and no wait, and there are never ads inside your vaults. Secure Box: rename any file or extracted folder from its press-and-hold menu.
