Full description
Most tarot apps shuffle a fresh deck for every question. This one does not. You open a deck of seventy-eight cards, shuffled once. Every question turns cards, and the cards it turns are gone — not for that question, for the whole deck. Ask about work and draw the Tower, and the Tower is spent: it cannot answer your next question, because it already answered this one. That single rule changes what a reading is. The deck thins on the table in front of you. The cards you have already turned stay where they landed, so a session builds into something you can look back over. And because nothing returns, a late question is answered by what is left — which is exactly how a reader with one deck and one evening would answer it. WHAT A READING LOOKS LIKE You ask in your own words. A question, or just a subject — love, work, the year ahead. Cards are turned one at a time and stop when they can answer, so a plain question may take two cards and an open one may take seven. Nothing is padded to fill a spread, because there is no spread to fill. The reading is written from the cards on the table, in plain language, and it answers the question you asked instead of describing each card in turn. WHAT YOU CAN ASK Love and relationships, work and money, a decision you are stuck on, a plain yes or no, or how your past, present and future look. Ask in your own words — a full question or a single word like "love". If a reading feels unfinished, tap "Not quite — draw a card" and one more card joins the table. WHEN A DECK ENDS A deck closes when four hours pass without a card, twelve hours after it was opened, when you shuffle it yourself, or when it runs low. Whatever the reason, one last card is turned to say where you stand, and the session is put away — readable afterwards, and never rewritten. WHAT THIS IS NOT This is for reflection and entertainment. It is not advice, and it does not replace a doctor, a lawyer, a financial adviser or a therapist. Nothing here predicts the future, and nothing here is guaranteed. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please talk to someone who can help — a doctor, a local emergency number, or a crisis line in your country. Cards are not the place for that weight. THE CARDS The 1909 Rider–Waite–Smith deck, drawn by Pamela Colman Smith. Public domain artwork, cropped to the picture. Intended for people aged 16 and over.
