CarMaint

CarMaint keeps your vehicle's servicing in one place — the booking, the quote, the job, the photos and the history. BOOK A SERVICE Pick your vehicle, choose a workshop, tell them what is wrong and when you want it in. Ask for a drop-off or pick-up and a loan car in the same form. The workshop confirms and the booking becomes a job you can follow. SEE THE QUOTE BEFORE THE WORK Quotes arrive itemised: every part, every labour line, GST and the total. You approve or decline each item individually, so nothing is done that you did not agree to. If your workshop records a walkthrough video of what it found, you can watch it — with sound — before you decide. FOLLOW THE JOB Every job moves through clear stages: booked in, vehicle here, inspecting, quote awaiting your approval, work in progress, ready for pick-up. You get a notification when the stage changes, so you are not left wondering. YOUR VEHICLES AND THEIR HISTORY Add a vehicle by its New Zealand registration plate and CarMaint fills in the make, model, year and VIN for you. Keep every service against it — including work done before CarMaint, which you can add yourself. Warrant of Fitness and registration expiry are shown on the vehicle, with reminders before they lapse. Selling the car? Transfer its history to the new owner from inside the app. PAY THE WAY YOUR WORKSHOP WORKS Pay at the workshop when you collect, or pay by card in the app where your workshop supports it. CarMaint never stores your full card or bank details. FOR WORKSHOPS The same app runs the workshop side. See today's job board, take booking requests, build and send quotes, record inspection findings and media, and — on the full plan — see how the workshop is tracking. FOR FLEET OPERATORS Run a fleet's vehicles, members and approvals from the same app, with Warrant of Fitness and registration status across the whole fleet at a glance. SIGNING IN CarMaint needs an account. Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID if you turn it on — that check happens entirely on your device and CarMaint never receives your face or fingerprint data. NOTIFICATIONS ON ANDROID Push notifications are not yet enabled on Android. Your reminders and job updates arrive by email instead. PRIVACY CarMaint uses no third-party analytics, attribution or crash-reporting service, no advertising identifier, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. The app does not ask for your location. Photos have their location and camera metadata removed when they are uploaded. Full policy: https://carmaint.com/privacy CarMaint Ltd is a New Zealand company.
