Full description
Segue is the app a guitarist props on a stand instead of a binder. Charts are written in ChordPro or plain chords-over-lyrics and read as a real document, so the app knows which token is a chord and which is a lyric. That is what makes the rest possible. CHARTS THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE • Transposition that spells F# in a sharp key and Gb in a flat one • Capo modelled separately from transposition, the way a guitarist thinks • Chords named as letters, Nashville numbers, Roman numerals or solfège • Chords that stay over their own syllable when the font size changes • Tab blocks set in a monospaced face that keeps its columns • A layout that reflows into columns when there is room for them PDFs LIVE HERE TOO Scores you cannot retype sit in the library beside typed charts and go into the same sets. FOR THE GIG • Sets with an order you can drag, plus breaks, cues and announcements • A chrome-free stage view: swipe, tap the screen edge, or step on a Bluetooth pedal, all of which mean the same thing • The screen stays awake while you play • Five reading modes, including a low-light one for a dark stage BRING WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE Import a folder of text charts, or a whole SongbookPro backup — songs, sets, keys and capos. IT WORKS WHERE YOU PLAY No account, no login, no server. Everything is on the device and everything works in airplane mode, which is what a venue usually amounts to. No ads and no tracking of any kind. WHAT IS FREE Your whole library and as many songs as you like. Writing and reading charts, PDFs, importing, transposition, capo, sets, moments, the stage view, the pedal, backup and restore, search, and every style control applied to all your songs at once. That is a songbook you could gig with forever, and it stays free. THE ONE-TIME UNLOCK One purchase, no subscription, nothing that can lapse in the middle of a gig: • The Manager — edit your library from a browser on your own computer, over your own Wi-Fi. A phone is a poor place to type a chart. • Books, folders and topics for filing your songs • More than one library on the same phone — a covers band and a wedding band need not share one • Select many songs and act on all of them at once • Per-song looks, for the chart that needs to be bigger than the rest Nothing you have made is ever taken away. If a purchase is refunded, every library, book and song stays exactly where it is; only making the next one is refused.

What's new

First release. Segue holds your chord charts on a stand instead of in a binder. ChordPro or chords over lyrics, read as real documents: transposition that spells the key right, capo kept separate from it, tabs that keep their columns, and PDFs in the same library and the same sets. On stage: a screen with nothing on it but the song, driven by a swipe, the screen edge, or a Bluetooth pedal. Bring what you have — a folder of charts, or a whole backup.
