GPS camera

GPS Camera is built for people who need more than a quick snapshot—they need a picture that clearly shows when and where it was taken, with context burned into the frame and technical details saved inside the file for later checking. WHAT YOU GET • A full-screen camera experience with familiar controls: switch cameras, optional flash, and capture from the main screen. • Live location awareness: when GPS is available, you can see coarse address or coordinates update while you line up the shot. • Rich on-image overlay: time, date, day, optional address line, app branding, and coordinates so viewers see proof at a glance—not only buried in metadata. • Organized saving: export JPEGs to your device gallery in a dedicated album so GPS Camera shots are easy to find next to everyday smartphone photos. • Built-in gallery tab: scroll through your recent captures, pull to refresh, open images, and share them through your favorite apps without leaving GPS Camera. TRUST, INTEGRITY, AND VERIFICATION • The app can embed integrity-related data with your photo so a received file can be compared to a fingerprint of the original image. • Optional device-side checks help flag common spoofing or high-risk setups before capture (availability varies by device and Android version). • When you use our official web verification flow, checks can run locally in the browser for the embedded format—useful for teams that need a repeatable review step without uploading private photos to unknown servers when using that flow as documented. WHO USES GPS Camera • Field technicians, supervisors, and inspectors who attach evidence to reports. • Drivers, couriers, and site visitors who document arrival, condition, or work completed. • Renters, homeowners, and small businesses that want dated, placed photos for records. • Journalists, activists, or travelers who value transparent time-and-place context on images. LANGUAGE AND ACCESSIBILITY • Choose from multiple languages during onboarding so regional teams can work comfortably. • Overlay text is sized for quick reading on-site; zoom and lighting still affect legibility like any camera app. HOW TO GET THE BEST LOCATION READING Enable location services and allow high accuracy. Open sky improves fix time; indoors, tunnels, or dense cities may reduce precision—if decisions depend on coordinates, cross-check accuracy and capture conditions in your own process. PERMISSIONS IN PLAIN LANGUAGE GPS Camera may request camera access (to take pictures), fine or coarse location (to geotag and label images), and photos or storage access (to save files and show the in-app gallery that lists your captures). Internet may be used for maps, optional cloud features, and advertisements. You control these through Android settings and the permission prompts shown in the app. ADS AND PRIVACY The app may display advertisements through Google’s advertising partners. For details on data practices related to ads and core app functionality, read the Privacy Policy linked from this store listing and in the app where available. COMPATIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS Features can vary by device manufacturer, Android version, and enterprise security policies. Some verification or integrity checks may not be available on all hardware. Sharing through third-party chat or social apps may re-encode images and strip embedded proof—keep originals from your gallery when auditability matters. SUPPORT AND UPDATES We improvePerformance, stability, and policy compliance over time. If something does not work as expected, install the latest update from Google Play and review permissions, battery optimization, and location settings.
