Equinox

Equinox is a Wear OS watch face built around a flat vector illustration of a spiral galaxy, designed for AMOLED displays where pure black delivers maximum contrast and battery efficiency. The composition centers on a softly radiant galactic core that emits a cool teal glow, bleeding outward through smooth gradient rings that slowly dissolve into the deep void of space. Spiral arms sweep away from the core in clean geometric arcs, their edges traced with subtle teal highlights that reinforce the cold, high-tech atmosphere. Tiny precise dots of pale teal and cool white scatter across the mid-distance like distant star fields, rendered with the sharp clarity that defines the flat vector style throughout. The outer corners of the composition fade into near-black silence, keeping the periphery calm and unobtrusive so watch complications and hands remain fully legible against the luminous center. Every element follows a centered, symmetrical layout that brings architectural order to the infinite scale of a real galaxy. The overall feeling is one of vast stillness, as though the wearer is suspended in deep space watching a galaxy turn at an imperceptible pace. Cold, sleek, and precise, Equinox transforms cosmic subject matter into something measured and quietly dramatic on the wrist.
