SecHome is a complete, private, subscription-free video surveillance ecosystem for your home or business. Add your IP cameras (Dahua, Hikvision, Reolink, Amcrest or any ONVIF/RTSP camera), turn any Android phone into a security camera, use it as a baby monitor from another phone, or leave a phone at home as a smart NVR recorder. Everything runs locally: the AI runs on the device itself and your videos are not uploaded to the cloud. THREE MODES IN A SINGLE APP CAMERA MODE. Turn an Android phone into a smart surveillance camera. The built-in AI detects people, vehicles and animals right on the phone, records only when something really happens and alerts the phone you carry with you. Ideal for watching an entrance, a yard, a storage room or a bedroom. MONITOR & BABY MONITOR MODE. Pair one phone as the camera and another as the monitor with a QR code. Watch live from another phone, at home or away, listen to the audio, talk through push-to-talk walkie-talkie, and trigger a remote alarm siren to scare off an intruder or get attention. Perfect as a baby monitor, to watch a pet, as an intercom or as a remote deterrent. The connection is peer-to-peer (WebRTC) and end-to-end encrypted between your phones. NVR MODE (GUARDIAN). Leave a phone plugged in at home watching your IP cameras. It detects with on-device AI, records clips with pre-recording (pre-roll) so you never miss the first moment, and alerts your phone even when nobody is watching. It monitors several cameras at once, follows a schedule you set, recovers on its own if a camera drops, purges old recordings based on the retention you choose, and keeps working with the screen off. REAL PRIVACY, NOT A SLOGAN - Video is never stored on any server or in the cloud; it is only streamed with end-to-end encryption (WebRTC). - The AI runs on the phone itself (on-device). Zero cloud processing. - Your IP camera passwords are stored with end-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM with a key derived from your account password). Not even SecHome can see them. - Recordings are stored only on your device and are deleted automatically based on the retention you choose. - Only your account and the connection signaling go through the backend, encrypted and protected row by row per user.
