This reel/short count is a core part of how ScrollIQ calculates your daily Brain Score and powers leaderboards and challenges with friends. The Accessibility Service reads only the on-screen layout of these short video feeds to recognise when a new reel appears. It does NOT read, collect, store, or transmit your messages, passwords, or any other personal content — in ScrollIQ or in any other app. All reel detection is processed on your device. This permission is optional. ScrollIQ asks for your explicit consent before enabling it, and you can turn it off at any time in Android Settings, which stops all counting immediately.
