Full description
Awayling is a screen time tracker with a small pet on your home screen. The widget shows today's screen time against a daily goal you pick, and your pet grows on the time you spend off your phone. With your permission, Awayling uses Usage access to estimate daily app use, excluding home-screen apps, System UI and Awayling. It compares that screen time with your goal. Only the daily totals are kept, on your phone, and nothing is uploaded. How a day counts • Pick a daily screen time goal. An hour under yesterday is a good start, and you can change the goal any time. • A day when screen time is at or under your goal is a good day. Good days add up and never reset. • Your pet's mood follows those days, from doing great down to worn out. One good day starts the recovery. • Your pet hatches from an egg, then grows to young and then grown. Growth only goes up. • A new egg comes at 10, 30, 60 and 100 good days, then every 50, and you pick who hatches. Every pet lives in the Commons and keeps growing; up to five stand on the Home tab. • The Commons gains a pond, a tree, a bench and a lantern as good days add up, and your pets write you short letters at set counts. • Each pet comes in four colors. Pick one when it hatches or change it any time. • New habitats open at 3 and 7 good days. • Finish a focus session, locking the phone until the timer ends, for extra growth, up to three a day. In the Commons, grass bends in the wind, and awake pets breathe, blink and wander once they are young. About a minute after you open the Commons, touch it or scroll it, the scene settles into a still picture. With Remove animations on, it stays still. The widget shows today's screen time against your goal and the pet in front, in its color. It refreshes on its own about every 30 minutes, even when the app is closed. Each refresh shows the latest screen time total. You can share a weekly card with your pet, how far under your screen time goal you stayed, and an invite link. It goes only where you send it. Awayling tracks daily app use against your screen time goal. Free: the Ember species, the Commons, every egg and letter, all four colors, three habitats, the Paper widget style, 14 days of screen time history, focus sessions, growth, recovery and sharing. Awayling Keeper is a one-time purchase. It adds Dewy and the Keeper species added later, plus two more habitats, the Ink and Bare widget styles and your full history. Keeper species hatch from your next egg, like every pet. A daily 8pm reminder is available. It stays off unless you turn it on. Privacy policy: https://scrollingisevil.com/awayling/privacy/

What's new

Your pets now live together in the Commons, a new tab. A new egg comes at 10, 30, 60 and 100 good days, then every 50, and you pick who hatches. Every pet keeps growing, and up to five stand on the Home tab. The Commons gains a pond, a tree, a bench and a lantern, and your pets write you short letters. The scene moves for about a minute after your last touch, then holds still. Each pet comes in four colors; the widget and the weekly card show the pet in front. Your pets and history are kept.
