ScrollBreak is a mindful screen-time app that breaks doomscrolling with 1-minute puzzles. If you open Instagram, YouTube or WhatsApp too often, ScrollBreak tracks time in apps you choose and shows a quick jigsaw or coloring challenge when your limit is reached. Solve it to continue, refreshed. How does ScrollBreak stop doomscrolling? 1. You select distracting apps to monitor. 2. You set a limit: every 1, 2, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes. 3. ScrollBreak detects app opens on-device. 4. When time is up, it shows a 1-minute puzzle or coloring break. 5. You solve the challenge to continue. Dashboard shows usage-free time. What happens when time is up? A jigsaw puzzle or coloring screen appears. This is mindful friction, not a permanent lock. Solving the challenge always continues. No root, no VPN required. What are the mindful challenges? • Jigsaw Puzzle: 2x2 puzzle with 100+ pictures. Solvable in under 1 minute. • Coloring Break: 50 calm templates with undo, redo and custom colors. • Smart random mode avoids repeats. • All challenges work offline. No accounts, no ads. Is ScrollBreak private? Yes. ScrollBreak works 100% on-device. • No cloud sync, no trackers, no analytics SDKs. • Usage time is calculated locally with Android UsageStats. • Settings stay in device storage only.
