Active Screen keeps your Android display awake when aggressive battery rules — especially on MIUI, HyperOS turn the screen off too soon. Whether you’re monitoring dashboards, following recipes, running a kiosk-style display, or testing apps, one master toggle gives you reliable “always on” control without subscriptions or sign-in. KEY FEATURES • Master ON/OFF — turn screen protection on or off from the home screen • Timed sessions or permanent mode — choose duration presets or stay on until you switch off • Quick Settings tile — start/stop from the notification shade; active sessions show a countdown • Foreground service — persistent notification while protection is active (required on modern Android) • WakeLock & window flags — screen bright, show when locked, dismiss keyguard where supported • Brightness control — adjust system brightness (0–255) or optionally force maximum • Power-button override — tries to re-wake the display if the screen turns off when you press power • Proximity override during calls — reduces accidental screen-off during phone calls • Boot autostart — optional restart after reboot (enable in system settings) • Permissions wizard — step-by-step guidance for MIUI / HyperOS setup • Live status & event log — see what the app is doing on your device • Battery temperature badge — visual warning when temperature is high PRIVACY Active Screen does not require an account.
