Full description

Scorrie is South Africa's local marketplace for second-hand technology. Buy and sell phones, laptops, gaming gear, cameras, audio equipment and PC parts with people near you. Tech only. Most deals happen in person, a few suburbs away. Find the item, chat and agree a price in the app, meet in a busy public place, inspect it, and pay the seller directly. You pay the seller. Scorrie does not take the payment. WHY SCORRIE • Local first. Filter by place and deal with people close to home. • Tech only. Phones, computers, gaming, cameras, audio and parts. • Verified people. Identity checks and a verified badge show who you are meeting. A badge means a checked identity. Stay alert when you meet. • Reviewed listings. Listings are checked before they go public. • Safer chat. Messages are scanned for scam patterns and unsafe links. Keep the conversation on Scorrie. • Offers in one place. Message, offer, accept, counter or decline without leaving the app. • Your data stays yours. Scorrie does not sell your personal information. HOW TO BUY • Search or browse by category, brand, price and location. • Message the seller or make an offer. • Meet somewhere busy and well lit. Inspect the item, then pay. HOW TO SELL • Add photos, a price and a short description. • Reply to buyers and manage offers in the app. • Meet safely, confirm the payment has cleared, and mark the item sold. • Free to browse. Free to list. Scorrie is built in South Africa for people who want a calmer way to trade second-hand tech: local, careful, and only the gear that belongs here. Questions?
