Please read this first: School Check-In App only works if your school is already enrolled with us. Your school creates your account and sends your sign-in details, and if your school is not shown in the app list, your school also gives you the access code (labelled "school invite code" in the app) that reaches it. There is no public sign-up, so if your school does not use School Check-In yet, this app will not work for you. SCHOOL PICKUP, WITHOUT THE CHAOS The afternoon pickup line runs on walkie-talkies, paper lists and someone shouting numbers across the parking lot. School Check-In replaces all of it with one button. You pull into the car line, park, and tap Check In. Staff inside see your arrival on a live dashboard the moment you tap, listed in the order families arrived. Dismissal then carries on the way your school already runs it, whether students come out on their own or staff walk them out. No radios, no clipboards, no waiting in the office. HOW IT WORKS 1. Your school sends you a welcome email with a secure link. Set a password and you are ready, on your phone or in any browser. 2. The first time you open the app, choose your school from the list, or enter the invite code your school gave you if your school is not listed. 3. Park, then tap Check In. A quick location check confirms you are at the school. 4. Your family pickup ID lands on the staff dashboard straight away, in arrival order. From there, dismissal runs the way your school already runs it. WHAT PARENTS GET One-tap check-in. One big button. Your pickup ID lands on the staff dashboard instantly, in arrival order. Permanent access for the adults you trust. Give a co-parent, a grandparent or a caregiver their own login for your pickup ID. Each one checks in under their own account, and you can remove them yourself at any time. Same-day links. Sending someone else just for today? Create a one-time link and text it to them. It expires at the end of the school day. Pickup status at a glance. Open the app and see where today stands. Dark mode. Easier on the eyes for early-morning drop-off and late-afternoon pickup. A built-in help center with step-by-step fixes for the usual phone and location problems, a support form that normally gets a reply within a couple of hours, and a one-tap call button for the school office. ABOUT LOCATION School Check-In asks for location so it can confirm you are actually at the school when you check in. Your location is read at the moment you tap Check In, and only then. It is not tracked in the background, it is not used for advertising, and the day check-in records are cleared automatically every night. Precise location is required, because an approximate fix is not accurate enough to tell the school you have arrived. WHO THIS IS FOR Parents, guardians and the trusted adults they share pickup with, at schools that use School Check-In. Accounts are created by the school. There is no public sign-up in this app. GETTING ACCESS If your school already uses School Check-In and no welcome email has reached you, contact your school office and ask them to resend it.
